Our wedding was beautiful and whimsical, thanks to Bobbie and her team. Bobbie was an amazing person to work with. She went above and beyond in helping us get the final details to the wedding done. She even created the "Thank You" cards that went on the plate settings and the menus for us and didn't even charge us for it. Bobbie is simply Amazing! She is extremely detail oriented and such a beautiful soul to work with! We had a few challenges and obstacles to work around since there was a tropical storm that decided to pour upon us on our wedding day, but with Bobbie's calm and collective demeanor, everything worked out seamlessly. We were able to create a new plan within 24 hours. She made our lives so much easier. She went out of her way to make sure everything was exactly the way we wanted! She communicated so wonderfully with all of our vendors and made sure everyone was on the same page, always!

The other best part about working with Bobbie was her assistant & daughter! I've never seen such a hard working human being! This girl is so nimble and brave! Such a sweet heart, we cant thank her enough! I can't forget how she guided our guests to the barn in that pouring rain under a tent of umbrellas she created, completely selfless she aloud herself to get drenched covering everyone else, simply to ensure our guests had an amazing experience and didn't let the rain affect anyone's fun!

My husband and I hired Fortuna Event Management for full planning services for our wedding. Bobbie from Fortuna Events was phenomenal. She made sure everything was correct from the beginning till the end. I mean she went wayyyy above and beyond. My parents were from out of town and I didn't have them or my siblings around to help, but Bobbie was there helping me from finding the right dress to finding the right venue and the right baker, and make up artist. She made sure that I got exactly what I asked for and wanted from the vendors. Even the people from the venue told me how on track she kept them from the planning until the day of the wedding. I felt no stress on the day of the wedding because she shielded both my husband and I. I couldn't have picked a better person for this. She is the best Wedding Planner ever. All of my guests raved and complimented on how classy and perfect the wedding and timeline was. And It was all because of Bobbie from Fortuna Events. She is Terrific!!!! .When it came to wedding planning I was so overwhelmed, I knew I needed someone to guide me and point me in the right direction – Bobbie did just that and so much more. She provided various recommendations for vendors, including our amazing florist (A Creation by Mario!!), and was there with me every step of the way ensuring that we were on track with everything. She meticulously put together an extremely detailed timeline for our day, which made me so much more relaxed on the day of as I was aware of exactly what was occurring at what time. She went above and beyond in so many aspects of our wedding and it was all absolutely perfect – even better than what we imagined. My mom even had a panic attack in our bridal suite right before walking down the aisle, and Bobbie was there calming her down and distracting her. Words can’t express how grateful I am to have had Bobbie, owner of Fortuna, as my wedding planner. But I’m going to do my best to make sure you understand by the end of this review.
When I began the process of planning for my wedding, I knew I needed help to make it all that I dreamed. I took a lot of time to talk with different wedding planners to get a feel for the quality of their service and also to see if we were a good fit to work together. I wanted to be sure that our personalities were a good fit and that they could understand my vision.
Bobbie and I hit it off from our first conversation! She has an excellent track record for success and superior expertise as well as a warm and fun personality. Most importantly, Bobbie understood the look that I was trying to achieve for my wedding from the start. From that first conversation, I knew that Bobbie was the one.
I was right about my choice because Bobbie is AMAZING!!! She understood my vision so well she was able to help me to take it to the next level. She is a master at designing and curating a look as well as delivering on it.
In addition to her design and curation skills, Bobbie works with the most outstanding vendors. She introduced me to her trusted relationships such as for a caterer, florist, and photographer, as examples, all with no pressure and it was clear to me from their reputations and what they delivered at my wedding, that they were the best.
I was an out of town bride and came to Miami twice to visit the venue and meet vendors. Bobbie was there with me every step of the way with a well thought out agenda so that I could maximize my time. She helped me with wedding protocol and thoughts on my invitations. She helped me to secure certain novelty items that I wanted at my wedding like Hora Loca and having an authentic Cuban cigar roller roll cigars. And because I was an out of town bride, Bobbie did so much work me when I couldn't be there. Basically, with every aspect of my wedding Bobbie was there for me professionally and personally.
What I've described here is only a taste of the work she did for me. Her work, her time, and her effort went above and beyond. And quite literally, my wedding was perfect. As amazing of a wedding planner that she is, Bobbie is an equally awesome human being. I'm so appreciative of her and so happy to call her my friend. I feel blessed that she was brought into my life to help me with this momentous event in my life.
